Chalice Hymnal2.0 - App Store

Chalice Hymnal - Disciples of Christ

A collection of over 280 of your favorite hymns with full lyrics, full music scores and full organ accompaniment soundtracks. Plus an additional 30+ hymns with full music scores and full lyrics. Perfect for the church musician or when you need accompaniment for singing or just for you to enjoy the beautiful organ music.

This app is for you if:

- you are a church musician and need to have the full music score and words for the hymns quickly, or

- you need full organ accompaniment for singing either alone or for a congregation, or

- you want to use your iPad as a hymnal during practice or performance, or

- you like to sing but forgot the words to the hymns, or

- you enjoy listening to the many favorite hymns, or

- you just want to have a useful hymnal on your iPad

This is the Hymnal app that you will treasure and enjoy using.

The music scores and lyrics are professionally typeset (not just scanned) with full 4-part harmony (not just the melody line). Every page is sharp and clear - just like what you would expect on a printed page.

The user interface has a clean look, not cluttered or distracted with fancy, but unnecessary, graphics, and it is extremely easy to use. You can quickly and easily find the hymn that you want either by hymn title, first line or hymn number. You can also swipe to go to the next/previous song by number, title or bookmark, or zoom in for larger notes and texts.

The organ recordings are professionally done and are perfect for use as accompaniment during sing-alongs, or just for you to sit back and enjoy the music. The hymns are performed by a 30+ year experience church organist and pianist.
